[Ser159]-PKCε (149-164) is a protein kinase C epsilon (PKCε) pseudosubstrate with a serine substituted for an alanine at ser159. This substitution allows [Ser159]-PKCε (149-164) to be phosphorylated by PKC and this allows [Ser159]-PKCε (149-164) to be a phospholipid/phorbol ester-dependent substrate for PKC ε, ζ, δ and η.
