Batimastat
Cat. No. MM-010
Structure:
Other Names:
Activity:
Batimastat is a potent, broad spectrum MMP inhibitor with IC50s values of 3, 4, 4, 6 and 20 nM for MMPs -1, -2, -9, -7 and -3 respectively. Metalloproteinases play a necessary role in invasion and angiogenesis and batimastat exhibits antiproliferative, anti-invasive and antimetastatic activity in human colon, ovarian and prostate xenografts. Batimastat attenuates neuroinflammation following focal cerebral ischemia in mice.
