FGF7p
Cat. No. RT-030
Structure:
Other Names:
Activity:
FGF7p is a peptide derived from the sequence of fibroblast growth factor 7 (FGF7) that mimics the biological effects of full‐length FGF7. Similar to FGF7, FGF7p drives downstream signaling in urothelium and urothelial cytoprotection, probably through AKT. FGF7p blocks bladder urothelial apoptosis via AKT and its targets, again similarly to FGF7, and mitigates bladder urothelial injury from cyclophosphamide.
Narla et al (2022) FGF7 peptide (FGF7p) mimetic mitigates bladder urothelial injury from cyclophosphamide. Physiol Rep. 10(7) e15241 PMID: 35388988
