Calpain inhibitor
PD 150606 is a cell-permeable non-peptide calpain inhibitor with Ki values for ν and m-calpains of 0.21 and 0.37 μM. PD 150606 targets the calcium binding sites of calpain and possesses very high selectivity for calpains relative to other proteases, acting as a non-competitive inhibitor with regard to the substrate.
