PAR1 agonist
TRAP 6 is a peptide fragment of protease-activated receptor 1 (PAR1, residues 42-47) that acts as a PAR1 agonist. TRAP 6 stimulates human platelet aggregation with an EC50 of 0.8 μM, promotes intracellular Ca2+ mobilization and induces rapid phosphodiesterase 3A (PDE3A) phosphorylation in vitro.
